Eliza STETSON PRATT 1856-1937, Mina NY

Death claimed one of the older residents of this section, Wednesday afternoon, in the person of Eliza Jane STETSON PRATT, widow of Francis Lorenzo PRATT.
Mrs PRATT had been in failing health for the past seveeral years but was able to be up and around until the day before her death, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lee PARK.
Mrs. Pratt was born in the town of Mina, Chautauqua Co NY,, of December 19, 1856, the daughter of Charles STETSON and Cressia GREENMAN. Her father was one of the pioneers of this part, clearing land in Mina, where he built a log cabin.Mrs. Pratt was an active worker in the Methodist church at Mina for many years, until forced by ill helath to relinquish her duties.
The deceased is survived by 2 daughters,
Nora PRATT, wife of Leeman PARK, of Sherman,
and Mrs. Della Pratt TESTRAKE, wife of John Testrake of Ripley;
4 sons,
Jay PRATT
Ernest Pratt
Dewey Pratt all of Sherman,
Floyd Pratt of Oil City PA.
2 other sons, Ray and Leon Pratt and Mr. Pratt her husband all died during the influenza epidemic of January 1913.
Three sisters,
Mrs. Forest BLISS,
Mrs. Huldah CHESLEY, both of NorthEast, erie Co PA, and Mrs Mary Ottaway of Ripley.
