I have just found an obituary from April 1820 that states Ann Stetler is the wife of Christian Stetler of Upper Providence township. They are both at rest in the cemetery at Augustus Lutheran church, Trappe,Pennsylvania.
Christian Stetler 1779 - 1821
(Sarah) Ann Stetler 1784 -1820
The children:
1. Christianne M.
2. Sarah Ann 1804-1838 (married John Meredith Norris)
3. Ida
4. Abner 1809-1899 (married Caroline Garrison)
5. William born 1812 (four years older than John)
6. Michael 1815-1899
7. John McGinley 1816-1894 (married Maria Charlotte)
8. (died about 1821)
9. (died about 1821)
The info in the obit about Ann Stetler matches info in A Poor Orphan Boy by J. M. Stetler, son of Christian & Ann.
Abner & Sarah Ann & John M. all had descendents, perhaps other children did also, if you are descendent and are interested please contact me.
I also think that I know what the two previous generations are also.
