There was one other Sterrett resident of Augusta Co VA about 1810, William Sterrett d.1818 Augusta Co VA.
Name: William Sterrett
Date: 22 Apr 1817
Location: Augusta Co., VA
Notes: This probate record was originally published in "Chronicles of the Scotch-Irish Settlement in Virginia, 1745-1800. Extracted from the Original Court Records of Augusta County" by Lyman Chalkley.
Remarks: William Sterrett's will-Wife, Isabella, to be supported by his sons, James and Josiah Baskins; to son, Samuel; to my son, Alexander Boyd; to son, John; son, Henry; to son, William Bell, and William's brother, David; to son, David; daughter, Nancy Rit
Description: Decedent
Book_Date: WB12-354
Prove Date: 25 Mar 1818

It is likely these 2 Sterrett families are related. We know that John Douglas Sterrett immigrated from Co Londonderry Ireland about 1795-1798 and that he lived around Lancaster Co PA before going to Craigsville, Augusta Co VA before 1799.
