Just got your message, it is about 10:30 here, tomorrow I will get my book out, I just printed a Sterrenburg book in July of this year, turned out pretty nice, however, after I printed found more information. The Teuntje you referred to is our ancestor, she came over in 1847 with her parents and siblings.I have lots of information. If you want you can e-mail me: [email protected] have been unable to get much information about their time in the Netherlands, we were there this September, but was researching the van der Linden line, do have two contacts that are Sterrenburgs, but we have been unable to connect the family together. The father, Jan, died sometime in 1856, I am quoting from memory without my papers in front of me, have been unable to locate his burial location, but know that he lived in Pella, his wife is buried up in Sioux County, she lived with Teuntje and Gerrit and probably went up there to help with her daughter, and she also had a son who lived up there.Have many obits from that family.Where do you live?I am in Des Moines, IA. Will be glad to chat with you and help anyway I can.
