My questions are:
Does anyone know name of Betty Blankenship's mother Nancy?
Apparently Wm was married twice- 1st to a Nancy and 2nd to a Lydia.
Is the Issac in the 1880 census the same Isaac that married my Betty Blankenship?
Were there 2 different Lydias in this confusion/ Or was the same Lydia married 1st to A Samuel Smith and then to Wm Blankenship? Was she Lydia Stepp? If there were 2 different Lydias anyone know maiden names?
Maybe there was a mistake in the mariage license of Isaac Smith and Betty Blankenship, and the name Lydia Blankenship should have been listed as mother of Betty. Or maybe at time of marriage,if there was only one Lydia, she had remarried to Wm Blankenship.
If anyone can shed some light, thanks
Marsha
