James W. Stevenson married Jane M. Burns and had 6 children. Mary, Mellisa,Martha,Josephine,Hetha and James W. Jr. Close to 1870 Jane and some of the children moved to Livingston, Polk, Texas. Since they are in the 1870 census for Polk Co., Tx. I assume that James W. Sr. died before
they moved to Texas from Homer, Louisana. Does anyone know anything about this family. Melissa was my husbands G.G. Grandmother , so Jane and James are the G.G.G. Grandparents.
