got GWS in 1870 and now 1880 in KY, always married to Amanda Rigdon but thanks for reply - got to think out of box.
for anyone looking for same family, they are "Slerenson" in 1880 ancestry.com census and couple age 30 instead of about 40, so only found by checking kids' first names and birthdates in Lewis county.
