Tell me about it!! Even with brothers, one of my uncles who lived next door to us spelled his Steven while dad spelled his Stephens. Before dad went into the army he spelled it Stephens. While he was in the army dad spell it Stevens but when he got out he again spelled it Stephens.

No I hadn't seen Dallas death certificate yet. I do know Ila Manus is buried next to Dallas and Mattie. Ifound their tombstones about 13 years ago in Ft. Mill SC.

I normally don't have alot of time doing research but it's time like this I do.I have found out alot of stuff over the last 14 years that I have been working on it thro.

I went to work for a company in Rock Hill about 6 years ago. There was a young man the the temp service was senting over to report to me and his last name was spelt Stephens. I was telling everyone he was my cousin and after we started talking heck it was true he was my cousin. Then I found out that another cousin was also working there but he was a mayfield and after he was telling his grandmother about it she told him that she knew me when a was little.

So sometimes you never know.
