I too have a James Knox Polk STEPHENS in my family Tree. He was my 2nd Great Grand Uncle. I don't show him with the same wife or vitals as you but he did have sons named Fred and Jim (among others). I would be willing to send you what info I have but it's much to show here. It is such an unusual name that I can't believe they're not the same.
