Billy, I'm glad I was able to find your Thomas Jackson Stephens and his parents. I am trying to figure out James W. Being born about 1853 he should be in 1860 and 1870 census records. He may not have been born n Walton County though so I will try all over Georgia. James is a common name though so it may be hard to figure out the right parents. I think I'll start with 1880 to see if there are any Stephens in Buncombe who could be his parents. Hopefully they all moved together. No, I am not related at all to your Stephens. My Stephens family were in NY, WI, IA , NE, WA and Canada. I'll get back to you as soon as I find a anything ore for you. Read my post to you on the two Jepthas and let me know what more you can tell me on that branch. How does James W. fit in with the Jepthas?? Carolyn L Notify Administrator about this message?
