Thanks for the response to my earlier posting on Luther Melburn Stephens.Your information is appreciated.
We have located the graves of Luther's father Milburn Stephens and his wife, Martha with two of their children: Mary Ophelia & Milburn Arthur (the second Milburn was born just months after the death of the father).

Miss Azoo is without doubt a daughter of Milburn Stephens, so Luther Melburn is a son, along with Milburn Arthur Stephens being brothers. The two Milburn's appearing in the same family gave me concern, until I realized she wanted one of her children to be given the name Milburn as a first name.Perhaps the Luther Melburn was named after her side of the family, thus she wanted one child to be name after the father.Who knows, but it is interesting.
Again, thanks for responding to my posting, contact me by email if you wish to correspond on this family.I have a study Online at Ancestry.com if you wish more detail on Milburn Stephens's family.
Are you a descendant of Luther Stephens or of Eliza Moore?
