Thomas V & Thomas A Stephens, early VA

I'm seeking information as to siblings, particularly brothers, of two Thomas Stephens in early Virginia.

Thomas V. (for Vant) Stephens was born about 1732 in Virginia, possibly Culpeper County. He apparently appears somewhat later in Pittsylvania County.

One of his sons apparently was Thomas A. (for Alexander) Stephens, born about 1767 in Virginia, who later moved to Allen County, Kentucky.

DNA testing indicates a relationship between these Stephens men and my earliest known ancestor, Jesse Stephens, born about 1819 in KY and who first appears about 1839 in Hancock County, where he spent the rest of his life and had a large family.

Thomas A. Stephens had several children and this family has been quite well researched. My 37 of 37 marker DNA match with a descendent of Thomas A.'s indicates a relatively recent relationship. My guess is a brother of Thomas V. or Thomas A. is my ancestor.

Any information as to brothers of Thomas V. or Thomas A. is appreciated.

Dick Stephens
