Thanks for the information concerning Eliza A. Stephens. This line is not familiar to me at all but could be related I suppose. My family lived in Bradshaw for a while in West Texas. The papers we have however have the property in Bosque County which is Central Texas. My greatgrandfather was William E.(b.1840) and his father was Barnabus T.His father was probably Eli Stevens (b.1792).I would like to also trace an Elisha Stevens/Stephens that lived in Gonzales, and or DeWitt County at the same time, 1850 or so. I figure that Elisha was a brother or uncle to Eli.I wish I knew when info is listed as Eli if that person could have been an Elisha or an Elijah.I don't have Elisha's line and if they were closely related, Eliza could be from his.You listed a Narcissa. William E. had a sister named Narcissa (1843)and one named Susan.
Anyway, Eliza A. could have been William E.'s first wife or from another line all together but I am grateful to have the info you gave so I can compare later should I run across some of these names again in my research. Thanks, Pat
