My ideas were correct. ENOCH A. STEPHENS did not die in 1895 as we have always been told . I have recieved from Little River Co., Arkansas that ENOCH STEPHENS was very much alive and well in 1904,1907, 1910,1914,and 1920. There are no divorce recordsin Little River Co.,AR. so MARTHA ELIZABETH ANDERSON STEPHENSevidently got a divorce after moving with or to her parents to Chickasaw Nation in Oklahoma where she married THOMAS B. HAMILTON in 1896. There are no other marriage records either for ENOCH A. STEPHENS ,so he may have not married again . I don't know if he died there , but would really like to find out that but most of all , who his parents are and what happened to him. Any information would would really be appreciated .
