Looking for information on the Stell's of Jackson County, Hamilton County, and Randolph County of Illinois. My mother's name was Nannie Belle Stell. Her fathr's name was John Frederick Stell. Her grandfather's name was William Stell. She was born in Jackson County, Illinois and so was her father and grandfather. As far as I know the were all born and died in and around Vergennes, Silver Lake, Oraville, Somerset, and Murphysboro, Illinois. My mother had a sister named Inez Mae and a brother named Ralph Frederick. I have found some Stell's in Illinois with similar names in the same area, and was wondering if they might be related.
