Barthel Steinmann, born October 1, 1676, in Glattbach, is my 7th great-grandfather through his son, Johannes Steinmann (1696-1765), his daughter, Eva Maria Steinmann (1728-1784) who married her cousin, George Steinmann (1721-1808), their son Johannes Steinmann (1755-1800), his son Johann Adam Steinmann(1789-1869) (my immigrant ancestor), his son Peter Steinman (1816-1879), his son Samuel Steinman (1855-1925), his son Edmond C. Steinman (1888-1854), his son William S. Steinman (1918-1984), and me (William S. Steinman) .
Barthel Steinmann married Margretha Rettich on Feb. 15, 1695. He died on Sept. 13, 1708.
His father was Peter Steinmann, born 1648 in Winkel and died Jul. 16, 1694 in Glattbach.
His father was Philipp Steinmann born in 1609 and died on Jul. 16, 1692 in Winkel.
