I am a Steinke from Milwaukee WI area i too am looking for the family of Karl Steinke . He is the father to my great great grandfather Johann Steinke . I have the Stempke or sempke name in my family . Minnie Gerth married a Mr Stemkpeor sempke.
Karl had many childern that is said to have come to the milwaukee area in june of 1872.
