Hello, I have a little information on the Steinhauer family of Frederica Steinhauer of Nankin and her children. My link to this name is through Laura May nee Steinhauer and Charles Phipps. Charles was the brother of Mabel E Phipps who married my grandUncle, George D Zimmerman of Dearborn. There is information on this family and there burial at Union Chapel Cemetery, Where I also have numerous relatives buried. This information was also put in a familytree of the Harrison/Cogswells of Wayne Co., MI. It is listed with the Familytreemaker Vol 4, Tree 462. I also have kin that married Harrison's and Cogswells. Unfortunately this tree doesn't list any new facts other than what Union Chapel records state.
If any of you who are researching the Steinhauer's of Wayne Co. Have any further data on Phipps or Zimmerman, would like to hear from you. Or if you would like what little bit I have on Steinhauer would be glad to share. From a Bills/Zimmerman decendent
