Looking for Jewish Steiners who lived in or around Dembno, Poland.Sometimes this town was associated with Krakow. My gggrandfather was Samuel David Steiner, and we believe his father's name was Salomon or something similar.Samuel David died and is buried in Kezmarok, Slovakia, where many of my ancestors lived pre-WW II, with names: Goldman, Gluecksman, Langer, Goldstein. Two of his daughters, Rosa (Rachel) and Regina (Rivka) are buried in the same cemetery. Rosa was my ggrandmother.
We have a family website for you to see if there are any connections. http://homepages.roadrunner.com/jmisen/http://homepages.roadrunner.com/jmisen/
I know some relatives came to the USA before and after 1900, and some settled in Cleveland, OH.I have seen some Steiners from Ellis Island records who perhaps stayed in NY area and look like there might be some connection.Would like to find relatives and share and compare information.
Looking forward to hearing from any of these!
