I am researching on behalf of a (very) distant relation here in south-east England.
I am predominantly trying to trace KEVAN family of South London and George Wilson Kevan married Emily Helena STEER (born c1900 died c1984 and known as Ena) c1926. The only other info I have is that Emily's parents were Harry Steer and Annie and were from South London, possibly Brockley or New Cross. Annie Steer was killed in a V2 rocket attack whilst taking shelter in Woolworth's store. Ena was a milk-woman during WW2.
Hope there is something here that rings some bells.
Kind Regards
Tony Brown, Dartford.
