I have a Nicey (UNK) b. abt 1743 (Source: Holly Hofmann <hollyhofmann@hotmail.com> married abt 1763 to John Steeley b. 17 Nov 1743 in NC and d. abt 1790 in Beaufort, Carteret, NC.
I seem to remember Nicey's surname being given as Steeley but since that was her husband's name I just supposed her maiden name was unkown. Now I learn it may have been Steeley and I suspect John Steeley may have been her father or brother. I would like to know what else you know about Nicey Steeley's family.
