Hello Joyce,
Do you have any info on a William Steeley\Steely\Stelley of Hancock County Ga. in 1796? He lived on Buffalo Creek in a place called Linton, Ga. In or about 1796 he returned 200 acres of land for taxes in Hancock County. I believe he came from NC to Georgia.
