Searching for letters, journals, and other personal documents referencing the life and military service of Edward Steele, who served as a private in Company F of the 108th U.S. Colored Infantry. He enlisted in the regiment at Louisville, Kentucky, in June 1864. He did not survive the war. Any and all help appreciated.
