hello everyone, I am looking for any information on the family of Robert Harper Steele and his wife Elizabeth who settled in the area of Northeast Hope, Co. Perth Ontario about 1855. The only children that I have names for are Matilda and William (both born in Antrim co. Ireland) and Andrew (born in Philadelphia 1851-1852) I also believe there was a Edward possibly born stateside. Robert and elizabeth arrived in Philadelphia June 3rd. 1845 on board the "Champlain" from Ireland Via Liverpool. I don't know what other family members may have been on the same voyage apart from the 2 children. Anyway, I know there must have been more children born in Ontario, I just don't have there names. Robert, Elizabeth Dr. William, and Andrew are buried in Stratford, Ont. Any knowledge on this family would greatly appreciated.
