Having no luck whatsoever with the spelling you gave on Glasser... I moved to the logical next choice which would be Klesser.I have the edge.Used to live in Germany.
1860 Census, First Ward, Albany, NY
John Klesser, 28, b. Germany, laborer
+Louisa, 25, b. Germany
Aurelia, 7, b. NY
Frederick, 3, b. NY
William, 1, b. NY
Charlotte STOTLE, 50, b. Germany (no question that this is Louisa's mother)
Immediately next door:David Klesser, 54, b. Germany, farm laborer.Little surprise, this man apparently is John's father.
Unfortunately, we just figured out that your Louisa is in no way related to the lady whose family I'm looking for.LOL

By the way, the writing was very clear on Charlotte's name, however, I am 98% sure that is not the correct spelling of the name.Play with the letter 'd' when doing searches... Stoddle, Stoddel, Stoddal, Stottle, Stottel, Stottal. Many ways you could go, I just don't think the name shown is the correct spelling.
