Jehile Steel was my grandfather's brother-in-law.
Jehiel Steele married my grandfather's, [Howard Hudson Riden's] sister, Lou Emma/Luemma Riden, May 6, 1880 in PA...
there are transcription errors for the spelling of both names.
Jehiel was born in PA, married Luemma Riden, moved to ND, had these 12 children:
LOUEMMA MARRRIED JEHIL STEEL 6 MAY 1880 (some times spelled Jehiel)
Jehiel:BORN-29 APRIL 1863 MIFFLIN COUNTY, PA.
Lou Emma:b. 29 April 1863 PA- ND,
married Jehil Steel, McVeytown, PA
CHILDREN:
EFFA IRENE STEELE also listed as Ella J.
BORN 1881
JENNIE MAE STEELE
BORN 1883
GROVER CLEVELAND STEELE
BORN 1885
MARY ERMA STEELE
BORN 1885
HESTER MURIAL STEELE
