I am trying to trace a John James Steedman b abt 1852 in Edinburgh. The son of John Steedman & Maria Letts.
John married (1) Mary Hume in 1877 in Edinburgh and they had 4 children Charles, Ada, Clara and Frederick (died in infancy.
Mary Hume died in 1882 and John James Steedman married Mary Agnes Murray in 1883 in Leith.
John James Steedamn & Mary Agnes Murray then both disappear from the Scottish records.
His children to Mary Hume were then brought up by their grandparents and aunts.
Any info on their whereabouts or any descendants that they may have would be appreciated.
