I am looking for information on William G. Steed born abt 1808 Va. He married Emeline Adair in Perry County, Al, in 1841. In 1850 they are in Marengo County, Al. and then they moved to Houston County, Tx. I am wondering how or if they connect to other Steeds I have found in Perry County AL. (George 1830 census, Thomas G. 1860 census and Mack Steed who married Ida Jones in Perry County in 1881.) Any info. is appreciated. I am especially looking for the parents of William G. Steed. Thanks.
