The Lamoni Chronicle - Iowa July 26, 1906 From the list of new court cases in the Leon Reporter we clip the following: Ruth H. LACKEY has brought suit for divorce against her husband, Mr. Claude LACKEY. She resides at Lamoni and was married to the defendant at Marion, Iowa, August 5, 1904, and they lived together only three hours as he was arrested on his wedding day on the charge of obtaining money under false pretenses, and after being released on bond absconded and deserted her, and is now not a resident of this state. She asks for a decree of divorce and that she be restored to her maiden name, Ruth H. STEDMAN. A. P. Olsen attorney for plaintiff.
