I have created a Stauffer web site and discussion forum that is dedicated to the family, ancestors, and descendents of the Hans Johannes Stauffer who arrived in Pennsylvania in 1710. Many Stauffers are direct descendents of Hans and it seems most Stauffers may be descended from his family lineage. While this web site is still a very-much-unfinished work in progress, I hope to make frequent updates. I have been very disappointed in the large amount of incorrect, conflicting, and misleading information that can be found about Hans, as well as the old "facts", long proven false, that continue to be passed around.
This is a non-commercial site. Nothing is being sold; there are no membership fees or donations requested. It's only goal is to increase the knowledge of the Stauffer (my 6th great-grandfather) who "started it all" by making the long and difficult journey to Ammerica almost 300 years ago.
