Stauffer Family Genealogy Forum

Hans Stauffer was the first Stauffer to come to the USA, arriving in Pennsylvania in 1710. I recently saw a reference in a genealogy book that he brought a family Bible with him to America. The information was quite specific. The book was "Records of the Proceedings of John Stauffer Memorial Association" published in 1911. This Bible was said to have been printed in Luxembourg in 1629 and in 1911 it was in the possession of a John Stauffer McIlvaine of Chambersburg, PA.
Does anyone have any information about this Bible, know where it might be now, or know anyone descended from John Stauffer McIlvaine?
As many of you know, most of what is known about Hans Stauffer has been taken from the translations of the account books that he kept. But some early-20th century genealogy books reference "facts" that did not appear in the translations without referencing any sources.
This Bible, if it actually exists, could be a tremendous source of information to Stauffer family researchers.
