Helen, go to bottom of page #153. You'll find that Maxine Staton married William Hamilton Convey, their children are : Mary Maxine, William Hamilton, Jr., and Carolyn Staton Convey. Maxine is the daughter of Layfayette Staton
and Elizabeth Sinclair. Layfayette is the half-brother of my GG-grandmother, Laura Ann Staton, daughter of Ennis Staton and his 1st wife Anne Allen. Layfayette is the son of Ennis and his 2nd wife, Sarah Ann Ross, daughter of Dugal M. Ross and Jemima Brewer. Dugal is the brother of
James Griffin Ross, my GGG-grandfather.
