ARTHUR B. STATON
Arthur Bennett Staton, 52, of Tarboro, died Friday, Jan. 6, 2006.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at St. James Temple Baptist Church with the Rev. Cornell Joyner officiating. Burial will follow in the Eastlawn Memorial Gardens in Tarboro.
Staton is survived by his wife, Gloria Staton of the home; two sons, Arthur Staton Jr. and Antonia Staton, both of Fort Benning, Ga.; four brothers, William Staton Jr. and Willie Staton, both of Tarboro, Curtis Staton of Fountain and Bernard Staton of Brooklyn, N.Y.; seven sisters, Ruth Williams of Hyattsville, Md., Cora Heath and Mary Brown, both of Brooklyn, N.Y., Bessie Tillman and Ora Dickens, both of Rocky Mount, Carolyn Rhodes of New Jersey and Phyllis Denise Lane of Tarboro; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
A viewing will be held from 2-8 p.m. Friday at Hemby Willoughby Mortuary.
Funeral arrangements are by Hemby Willoughby Mortuary, Tarboro.
