I am seeking information on Benjamin Franklin Statler and Amanda Jane Cron. Amanda was the daughter of Henry Cron and Nancy Redinbaugh, she was born near Piqua, Miami County, Ohio on 12 May 1841, and died 14 Feb 1923, in Leon, Decatur County, Iowa. They had four children, William, who married a Della Schaar (3 children), ClaraBelle, Sylvia, who married Melvin Stump, and Laura (Maud). All of the children supposedly were born in Indiana. In 1900 all but William is in Burlington, Des Moines County, IA; 1910, Franklin, Amanda and Clara are in Decatur County, IA; William and his family, and sister Sylvia are in Polk County, IA. Laura is belived to have died in or near Burlington by this time. William can be found in Polk County, thru the 1930 census. Sylvia married prior to 1920 and moved to Missouri.
Does anyone know when or where Clara died? When did Laura die? I have Amanda Jane (Cory) Statler's obit. Looking for any information pertaining to any of these folks. Also seeking siblings of Amanda, she is reportedly one of ten children.
