Hi Eva,

I recently posted a reply to the STATELER genforum on a family that might be Andrew's. I never found Andrew in the 1850 census so he probably died before then.

I believe Jacob was the son of John Stateler Senior who came to Licking County Ohio in the early 1800's.

As to the family in Germany no one else has mentioned a pin factory or any inheritance from Germany.
