Andrew Statler (1839-1923) was the son of John (1817-before 1876) and Nancy Statler (c1824-after 1876). He was born in Monongalia Co., WV. His parents appear in the 1840, 1850 and 1860 Census of Monongalia Co.
The 1880 Census shows AJ Statler in Tyler Co., WV. AJ Statler appears to be an only child.
John W. Moore (1802-1891) of Tyler County marries Nancy Statler in Nov. 1876. This is the same Nancy Statler that is the mother of AJ Statler.
