I'm also looking for a George Staten. He was born about 1850 in Amory, Ms. His wife's name was Annie, maden name unknown. George had Three sons that lived:Henry Staten, George W. Staten and Clifton Staten. The family moved to Al where Clifton died at age 20 in Talladega County, Al. George later died of old age also in same county. Henry moved to Ga. and died there of old age. The father(George Staten) remarried and had two daughters, Reba and Willie. Any information you may have about this George Staten would be greatly appreciated.
