My family, which primarily resided in and around Lancaster, OH, had some family members who grew up in the Buchtel area. In fact, there is still family property in the Utah Ridge are of the national forest. I can provide more information if you would like, but I may have to prompt my dad for more. His dad's family included:
Thomas Harvey Staten, Gertrude Staten, Chestine Staten, Gilbert Staten, Lawrence Staten, and Richard Staten. All died by 1980 I believe.
