G.W. Staten on 1830 census of Scott County, IN

I am trying to find more information about G.W. Staten, who was around 40 years old in 1830. There was two males near 20 years old on the census and I am trying to establish if one of the sons was my gggrandfather, Lorenzo Dow Staton (Staten). There is a Sarah Staten on the census as well,who lived by herself and was around 60 years old. She may have been G.W.'s mother.
I have been trying to piece together my family tree beyond
Lorenzo Dow Staton. His name has been misspelled on some documents as "Alonzo Staten". A Sarah Staten sold him land in Scott County in the 1840's. Lorenzo maried in Scott County in Sept. 1844 to Jemima McCleery.
