George Brown b. Scotland ca 1815. Wife Janett/Janet b. Scotland also. They appear 1850 and 1860 Staten Island, Clifton, Richmond C. Ny. Children Matilda, Jane, Samuel and Charles George. Geo died before 1870 census. Janett and C.G. still Richmond Co. She died shortly after1870 census.Matilda, Jane and Samuel may have gone to NJ when reaching majority. C. G. went to Detroit for a short time after mother's death, returned to NY, NJ area and then to Mississippi where he married Harriet Minerva Oliver.
Who were George's parents,wifes maiden name, where in Scotland born and when did he arrive US?
