Sarah Starr & Thomas Michael Starr---siblings 1876-1930

I'm trying to track down information on the following:

Charles Burns b- July 1875 Philadelphia, PA
d- Dec 1960 New Jersey
Sarah Starr b- Apr 1876 Ireland
d-Apr 1917 Philadelphia, PA
Thomas Michael Starr b-Oct 1881

The story that I have been told about Charles is that his father was one of 4 brothers who arrived in America together. The year of immigration and names are not known except that one brother may have been named Daniel.

I have no information on his mother.

He married Sarah abt 1893 in Philadelphia. They had 6 children, Margaret (Maggie), Mary, James, Charles, Theodore (Dorey), Rita. Sarah died in 1917 and between 1920 and 1930 Charles remarried to Anna Kislek (b-1899 Philadelphia, PA).

I do have Charles and Sarah on the 1900 Census.
Charles (widowed) on his WWI draft registration card.
Charles (widowed) on the 1920 Census.
Charles married to Anna on the 1930 Census.

The story on Sarah is a puzzle. Sarah supposedly came over from Ireland with her mother and a younger brother. Her mother was a single woman (it's not known whether she was widowed, or never married). However, both Sarah and her younger brother may have had different last names. Sarah's being Starr on all family papers and there are 2 possibilities for her brother Thomas Michael. The 1st being Starr. The 2nd being Barton.

Sarah and Thomas' mother died when they were young and the neighbors raised them. Thomas is seen on the 1900 Census at the age of 17 living with Sarah, Charles, and their 6 children.

Any lead is appreciated.

Jenn
