Trying again to tie in my John Cartwright Starns Sr.to James Starns & Matilda Ware line. I think he is another son of their's, but he isn't on any census I've found for them.
John C. Starns Sr.was born abt. 1838 OH? married Martha Weaver 1858 in Union Co. IL, married Mary Middleton abt. 1865 around KS. His children were all born in KS, CO, IN. My grandmother said he was a trapper.
Have not found him and his family on any census- 1850, 1860, 1870 or 1880. A couple of his daughters married into Furnish and MCCabe families that lived in Brown Co. KS where James & Matilda Starnes are living in 1870. So I know my John must be related. John died 1889 right after he, wife Mary, and their children and families moved to OK.
