I am researching Isaac Starling of Nansemond, VA 1663. He would be my 9th generation grandfather. He supposedly married in 1694 to 'Ms. Unknown?' born 1667 in Bertie, NC.

Their son Isaac, b. 1705 in Bertie, NC, d. May 1764 in Northamton, NC, married abt. 1732 to a 'Sarah-Unknown?' who was born abt. 1707 in Northampton.

Their daughter Mary Starling b. 1745 in Northampton, married John Batten, b. 1743 of Northampton.

Their son Isom W. Batten, b. 1772 in Northampton, married another 'Ms. Unknown'.

Would you have any info. on who these 'unknowns' are or any info. concerning these names? I am new to this and don't have much yet!

You may reply to me directly at starpeace8@aol.com if you wish.

Thank you,
Christina
