Hi I have hit a brick wall on my Starks. Heres what I found on the marriage record of my grandparents.
Marriage record:
July 3, 1945 Gulfport, MS
Harold L. Starks
Last address : Fortwayne, Indiana
Fathers name Charles Starks
Parents are deceased at time of marriage
Harold married my grandmother Fannie S. Gilliland. They had 1 child my dad Louis Harold Starks whom has past away. I know my dad was born in Alabama by a mid wife and there is no birth record on my dad.
Harold L. Starks birth would be around 1912 I am looking for any info on harold Starks and his family
It is possible Harold may have remained in the Louisiana area since I am told he was living in Louisiana in the 1960's
I have tried ssi and still no leads
