Thanks for replying! I'm not sure if we are talking about the same John Starks or not, but I hope there is a connection. I don't have a lot of info on John...I'll tell you what I do have though.
John L. Starks(my Great-Grandfather)was born 10-6-1856 and died 8-29-1918 in Sapulpa, Ok. He was married to Sarah Ann Rogers(my Great-Grandmother) born about 1865 or 1870 and died in Sapulpa in Oct. 1919.
They did have children, Minnie, Mary, Elbert and Laura Starks-Wilson(my Grandmother)and I believe, maybe a son named John T. Starks as well.
John L. Starks and Sarah Ann are buried in the Old Sapulpa Cemetery on Mission Street in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. They were not buried together and their graves were not marked either.
Does any of this sound like your husbands relatives? Hope to hear from you soon.
