Would you know whether any of the descendants of Susannah Phillips and Joseph S. Starkey have a family Bible?
Susannah's father was Gabriel Phillips who died in 1809 in SC. I hope that a bible might show the birth place of Gabriel and therefore be a clue to Gabriel's origins and to his own father. Thanks, Doyle Phillips
Incidentally Susannah's father (Gabriel) was not married to a Johannah Cook. His wife was Hannah Brewer, a documented marriage in Bucks Co, Pa 1758. Susannah was born, documented, in Bucks in 1760, not Loudoun Co, VA.
(First born son of Susannah and Gabriel was Gabriel Jr.)
