I am trying to track my family history to see where the native american came into play.
My grandmother was born in OK. Her father was Josesph Gott and he married Nellie Starkey. I am having trouble finding any info on them.
One thing I have learned is that my family often developed nicknames and to this day I am still learning the real names of the family. With that said, I am not sure if Nellie was her real name,
My grandmothers name was Locita Faye Gott (Married Albert Paul Herren), she has a sister named Lorraine but I always knew her as Pat, and a brother named Joe. They are both still in OK, I think around Tulsa. We have family all over OK but I would really like to know where I have native blood from.
My grandmother had me registered and now I wish to know from where. Please et me know if you can help!
