This is not my family, but I did a little searching on-line for you. So the following is absolutely all I know. Per the 1930 census, Clarence & Elsie are living in Hammond Lake, Indiana, and tell the census taker that he was 23 and she 21 at the time of their marriage (that would make them married around 1926).
Clarence, 27, b. Ill, laborer, steel mill
Elsie, 25, b. Ind
Dale, 7, b. Ind
Robert, 4, b. Ind
Delbert, 2, b. Ind
Deloris, 1 mo., b. Ind
Per earlier census records, it appears that Clarence is the son of Silas & Theodosia Starkey.
1910 - Ill - Kankakee - Yellowhead:
Silas, 49
Dosia, 42
Merritt, 18
Frank, 16
Clarence, 9
1900 - Ill - Kankakee - Yellowhead:
Silas, b. Apr 1861
Theodosia, b. Dec 1866
Merritt, b. Jun 1891
Frank, b. Jul 1893
Other records indicate that Silas was born 15 Apr 1861 in Indiana to George Washington Starkey & Julia Ann Hibbs; but Silas sometimes told the census takers he was born in Indiana and sometimes he said Illinois.
Hopefully, this will give you enough info to get started.
