I am seeking information on my grandfather, Ralph Samuel Stark(e?). I do not know where he was born, but he married Rosa Howerton probably in the late 1890's. They lived for a number of years in or near Sedalia or Smithton and had eight children, I believe. My father, Truman King Stark (b 8/3/1913), and Helen Stark (b 1902 m Arthur Monroe and lived in K.C. Mo.) were the only ones to survive to adulthood. My father told me that his grandfather spoke with a Scottish brogue and that, at one time, there was an "e" on the end of our name. My grandparents were divorced, but I don't know when other than it was during my father's growing up years.
Any leads would be greatly appreciated.
