I am searching for the origin of my wife's great-great grandparents. According to a death certificate filed in Duluth, Minnesota, my wife's great-grandmother, Elizabeth Stark, was born in 1898 in Orange, Wisconsin. The only Orange, WI I can find is the small town of Orange in Juneau County, WI. But, when I look at the census data for this time period and region, I can't find any Starks there!!! Elizabeth's death certificate says her parents were Charles Stark and Mathilda Johnson. One of them supposedly had some Chippewa Indian roots. Does anyone have this Charles Stark in their genealogical records?
Elizabeth Stark married Edward Sobczyk of Duluth, MN and lived in Duluth, MN her entire life.
